Banana Tattooing by Phil Hansen

Banana Tattooing by Phil Hansen
Jun 12Tattoos are made by puncturing the skin with a needle and letting the ink set on the deeper layer of skin usually forming an art of design. Putting a tattoo on a banana on the other hand, is a whole new art by Phil Hansen. He uses a pincushion to puncture a hole on the banana peel which exposes the interior to the air, thus turning it into a brown color. He just repeats the process until he produces an image. The video gives some instructions on how to make your own banana tattoo. It’s a great way to practice and see if you have what it takes to be a real tattoo artist.
