Diskursdisko: Hi Borja. To start things off, what’s your background? when did you start painting?
Borja Bonaque: When I was at school, I remember I was always drawing.
Diskursdisko: How do you mainly produce your art? Do you have a system or method that you adhere to?
Borja Bonaque: I work with the computer, first I always draw by hand but I finish it with the computer.

Diskursdisko: What inspires you?
Borja Bonaque: Everything, a color combination, a movie, even a song…
Diskursdisko: Much of your artwork has a retro vibe to it, while still feeling modern – how did you develop this style?
Borja Bonaque: Well, I use digitals programs like most of my generation. And that gives it a modern aspect.
