Luminous wallpapers from Philips and Kvadrat

There is a new way of lighting up a room coming from Philips, by the use of glowing wallpapers. Philips, in partnership with Danish textile company, Kvadrat, Philips is looking into bringing luminous textiles to the market. These fabric panels have embedded LEDs that make the entire surface glow with an adjustable moody effect. Brightness and color can be tuned to fit the occasion, while the entire panel also acts as an acoustic absorber to cut down on noise.
