Highly detailed portraits using only a needle by Michal Taharlev
Michal Taharlev, an Israel-based artist from Tel Aviv has created a series called ‘Holes in the memory’. He makes highly detailed portraits using only a 0.5mm needle by continuously poking the canvas that eventually make the images.
“The use of a needle on a photo and the violet act of damaging and obsessing over memories, yet in a very strict manner, gives a new meaning to the innocence and the unknown future the photos hold,”
