Small-time filmmaker gets $30m for robot movie

Federico Alvarez made a five minute clip with a budget of just $500 in his free time titled ‘Panic Attack’, showing an invasion of by giant robots and had special effects which could rival many big budget movies.
Now the seemingly unknown filmmaker from Uruguay has been given $30m by the big guys from Hollywood to turn his YouTube video of a giant robot invasion into a movie.
